Pros
As an organization, Prometheum will give you the opportunity to learn a lot, interacting with a complex financial system based on a unique regulatory foundation. On the tech side (that I’m most familiar with), the talent is top notch, with a healthy collaborative culture. The upper management is responsive and supportive with the employees. There is some flexibility with the working hours and, combined with the fact the company is fully remote, this is a nice perk, but you’re expected to put in the hours and effort required in such a fast-paced environment. The rapid pace of development makes the work intellectually stimulating and engaging. The salary is competitive, and, given that Prometheum is in a unique position in the fintech/crypto landscape, the options (that are part of compensation) have serious upside potential.
Cons
Although I’m sure that the opportunities to evolve in the organization are there, the trajectory is not always very clear - but this is an effect of any start-up’s entropic nature I guess.
