Pros

Hard to think of many.

Cons

Quick to fire. The managers don’t know what they’re doing. They ride the coattails of past success in a market from 10 years ago but don’t know how to succeed in the current market. They provide no training and expect you to just magically perform. The managers are extremely fake. They lie about caring about the individuals but in reality they don’t care. I would often over hear managers talking bad about the agents in their offices thinking no one could hear. Additionally they train their acquisition agents to lie about having a “client” to purchase the home but they don’t. They just intend to tie up the house and wholesale it (which 75% of their deals don’t make it past option period). The managers are extremely inconsistent with deal management, direction and finding value with deals

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. We are disappointed to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Prophet Homes operates in a performance-driven environment with clearly communicated standards and accountability. We provide structured onboarding, hands-on deal review, and ongoing coaching to support our agents. Success in this business requires both leadership guidance and individual ownership, and we work hard to create alignment on both fronts. Integrity and professionalism are non-negotiable for us. We operate within brokerage and regulatory guidelines, and we expect every member of our team to uphold those standards in their interactions and transactions. We recognize that this role is not the right fit for everyone, particularly in a competitive and evolving market. That said, we remain committed to continuously refining our systems, training, and leadership approach to ensure we are building a disciplined, high-performing, and respectful organization. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

I don’t have any pros for this company

Cons

Wasting professionals time, I had days of back and fourth communication and interviews to be told I was a great fit and only issue being which role to take either sales or acquisitions by the managers. This was while we had a “lunch meeting” where both managers had several Day drinks and boasted about how drunk they got their last prospect at lunch to then have them uber home. I should have realized how unprofessional they were at this moment to have both managers out drinking and talking about taking adderals all day together. Great fit for each other but not for me!

Pros

I've worked for three different real estate investment firms and have been in the industry for six years. I know that working in the real estate investment industry can be high-pressure, but the culture at Prophet Homes, St Pete makes all the difference. The office environment is fast-paced yet incredibly supportive — everyone is encouraged to bring their ideas to the table, regardless of title or experience. There's a strong team-first mentality, and the collaboration across departments (acquisitions, sales and management) is energizing. I think what sets Prophet apart from the other firms I've worked with is the leadership and the team atmosphere that they promote. Management is not only accessible but genuinely invested in mentoring and developing new agents. They communicate the company’s overall vision clearly, and I find it motivating to be part of an organization where long-term growth and reaching your full potential in and out of the office are prioritized. I genuinely am excited to come to work every day. We work hard, but simultaneously have fun and enjoy each others company. I personally think there's no better office to begin your real estate career or grow your existing one.

Cons

To be honest it can be a slow start, and takes hard work & consistency to get the ball rolling. As a 100% commission role, this can be a challenge for newer agents. But other than that, I don't have any cons.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback, especially given your experience across multiple firms in the industry. It means a great deal to hear that the culture and leadership in our St. Pete office have stood out in a meaningful way. We’re intentional about building a fast-paced yet supportive environment where collaboration across acquisitions, sales, and management drives collective success. Encouraging every team member to contribute ideas, regardless of title or tenure, is a core part of who we are. You’re also right that real estate particularly in a commission-based structure requires consistency, resilience, and discipline. Our focus is to pair that reality with mentorship, clear communication, and leadership accessibility so agents have the support needed to build long-term success. We appreciate your commitment to the team and are grateful to have you as part of Prophet Homes.
