I have been working at Protocol Education full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Young consultants. Great social office environment Commission is achievable with hard work

    Cons

Loe commission percentage - they start at 2%. Micro-managing puts a lot off staff Exodus of staff Career ladder based upon earnings and not suitability, skills and experience for senior position

    Advice to Management

Recognise your staff financially. The role is demanding and small salary increases (e.g. £500 are seen as an insult by all staff when we've grafted very hard all year - they will really offer you £500 as a salary increase). Need to ne quicker when reviewing salaries! Not good enough that after annual review it takes 3 montha to make a decision.

I worked at Protocol Education full-time

    Pros

Paid sick leave Training in London head office Paid expenses Reduced hours in school holidays Good location of offices Dressed down when not in client meetings

    Advice to Management

Treat everyone fairly, don't ask us to guess what you are thinking, actually try to manage people and not just kick us when targets aren't achieved

I worked at Protocol Education full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good perks, good training and nice employees.

    Cons

Unfortunately your thoughts and experience do not account for much. Focussed in numbers, targets and data to such an extreme that so much else is neglected. As long as the numbers are what they want - it doesn't seem to appear they are concerned if they are genuine or not. Too much micromanagement of whole teams across vast regions which resulted in a lot of wasted activity just to achieve vanity metrics for senior management.

    Advice to Management

Empower your teams and staff and allow personal skills and strength to develop.

    Advice to Management

Reduce the working hours, often no need to be in the office until 6.30 PM on late shift, tend to be wasting time for at least an hour and half. Encourage workers to be more unified rather than just out for themselves. Be more supportive of employees and not using pressure or bullying as a driving force to get sales. Look after new employees to reduce high staff turnover. Discourage the "if your face fits" culture.
