Pros

Some of the employees (definitely no one in management) were true troopers and made the job tolerable.

Cons

Overall a very toxic and ruthless company and management team to work for. There is no sense of job security,when I worked there a majority of the staff was fearful of losing their jobs and the ones that were not eventually were. Instead of mentoring employees it was a fear of being terminated and employees would just confirm the best they could. No matter how many hours or how hard you worked it was never enough. The President and COO (who are family) would disagree on how to handle a situation and asked for an opinion assuring us it was OK to be honest and give your opinion, I answered the question and agreed with one, the one I did not agree with immediately became angry and was mad for days. It is a small office so you definitely could feel the tension. When someone left or was terminated they were talked about the employee poorly and would give poor references. By far the worst and most toxic work environment I have ever unfortunately worked in. Many days I would have team members come to me in tears. You would see successful hard working employees get terminated for no reason.

I am sorry that your experience at Provenir was not a positive one. Our employees and our culture are most important to us. We have set very high standards of integrity and quality for ourselves in an already demanding arena. The work we do ultimately impacts the patients our clients strive to serve and care for and the demands we face are not for everyone. We have never terminated an employee for no reason. We invest heavily in our selection process and continue to invest in every employee with continual on the job training so terminations are avoided at all costs. Terminations hurt us and terminations sadden us. If an employee demonstrates behaviors not aligned with our core values or does not embrace the work ethic that our teams demand, we do terminate, but not before many Performance Improvement formal discussions and documentations with the employee. I appreciate your feedback and reflections. Provenir is the company we are today because of the feedback we receive each and every day from our fantastic team. I wish you the best.

Pros

Provenir has great team members that really care about one another (this is aside from management). There are also good events and parties. That's about it.

Cons

I do not recommend taking a chance and working at Provenir. On the outside, it appears to be a well functioning, team-focused, "family feel", down home place to work. However that perfect vision gets shattered quickly. I guess "family feel" might be accurate if you are talking about a really dysfunctional poorly managed family. Husband and wife owners make it a disaster of poor communication. Life at Provenir is a constant state of chaos. nothing is communicated well and when you don't know something because it's not communicated, it's YOUR fault. Good luck because a basic survival qualification is having mind reading abilities. Look at the high turnover that exists. there are always excuses given without management taking any of the accountability. This should be eye opening and yet it's status quo. Were that many team members not a fit for the organization or is the organization fundamentally broken? I do not recommend working here. The other reviews on here that are placed every couple of weeks praising the owners. take a guess who probably wrote them to help bury the true reviews on this app.

If you are truly a current employee, we would love for you to come and talk with us about your disappointments. We make it known every day how important it is to "see something, say something". We are committed to all of our employees success and happiness but this is hard to address through an anonymous post. Thankfully, throughout the many years we have been in business, we have been fortunate to receive continual feedback from the vast majority of our employees about how they feel, frustrations they may be experiencing, and suggestions they have to help Provenir be the best that it can be. Please know that you matter and that it is important that you share your concerns so that we can do better.

Pros

Absolutely zero....but you are receiving a paycheck.

Cons

She is controlling. He is sneaky. They would rather hire less than a Rookie Recruiter to pay them minimal money than maintain a seasoned, prepared Recruiter.
