Pros

Some of the other clinical field specialists are AMAZING and helpful. I really loved most of the nurse practitioners as well. I got to help older adults get mental health assistance in their own environment.

Cons

Constant gaslighting from poor management. The company culture is TOXIC. The workload is NOT at all possible. Prepare to drive… a LOT! They will tell you they are working to shrink your territory but it never really shrinks. The mileage reimbursement is a JOKE. I averaged 19 cents a mile plus my car “stipend” of 290 a month. Show me a car payment of 290 a month plus insurance. I’ll wait! So essentially you’re funding your own gas. I was driving anywhere between 900 and 1600 miles a month. The wear and tear on your vehicle is not covered by their motus reimbursement. Another con. On call. You are FORCED to be on-call for 7 days at a time. You literally work ALL day and then have to answer calls ALL night from 5pm until 9AM when the office opens again. It’s not even safe to be woke up all night for phone calls and then expect to drive 2 hours between buildings. You will have ZERO work life balance. They dangle the hope of bonuses but it’s nearly impossible to make bonuses since they changed the job expectations to include prepping all the nurse practitioners notes. That added an extra 2-3 hours of work a day to our jobs without changing the bonus structure. I was working 10-12 hour days 5 days a week plus 4-8 hours over the weekend to complete the expectations of my job. You do EVERYTHING!! You put in electronic med refills, schedule EVERY appointment, open every note, verify meds for every single patient, hold utilization review meetings for every client, manage any account complaints, send previsit report, then go to all kinds of BS company meetings… nurses meetings, company wide meetings, quarterly meetings, behavior meetings, QAPI meetings, regional meetings…. It NEVER ends! I was sneaking around behind my husbands back to do work because he was so annoyed with the demands of the job. And all that for SALARY and not even a decent salary at that. This is hands down the WORST job I’ve EVER had. Oh and look at your lack of diversity! Why is everyone white and Christian? There are hardly any people of color, Muslims, Jews, or men for that matter.

Pros

Work/life balance is pretty good

Cons

Onboarding is horrible, training period is too short. Company lies about providing a mentor during the orientation period. I requested additional training but was denied. I had to drive 3 hours round trip to different long term care facilities for 3 weeks and only received a couple hours of training each day before my preceptor wanted to leave and go home. I had to complete notes and documentation at home with a EHR system that I was unfamiliar with. My mentor was never available because they had their own case load to complete. My preceptor/mentor did not even know that they were training me my first week!

Pros

None, nothing at all, borderline criminal work environment

Cons

Barely any training from other overworked staff. Asked to “meet” after 9 pm to try to get clearer understanding of job. Asked to open new facilities without training and when I asked for training was ignored. Incredible workload with way too many patients for one person. Not good at all. Lied about compensation and was told I would have 3 months training and got 3 weeks with someone who was lukewarm and too busy to help me. Was lead into a meeting after only three weeks to discuss my performance when I literally had no idea what was going on because trainer was annoyed she had to train me. Run far away.
