Think twice

Pros

You’re valued in the beginning.

Cons

This company is a revolving door - Think twice before working here. The culture is toxic and how the CEO feels about you personally will determine how much success you have at the company. Not worth it.

Pros

- Lots of good and very talented people - Can be a fun environment - Some pretty cool projects - Fun company events and trips - Good place to build your resume, if you can handle the hours/workload

Cons

- You will be expected to work long hours, nights, weekends, with no overtime pay - Crunch and fast turnaround projects lead to severe burnout - Pay is not adequate for amount of hours, effort, and stress required - Lots of talk from leadership about supporting employee mental health/burnout and managing workload but no action is taken, or efforts are abandoned quickly after being implemented

Pros

Working at PullSpark has been one of those career chapters that actually lives up to the company values deck. Yes, there are busy seasons because event life is event life and some weeks run a little long. But the compensation is genuinely competitive, and leadership does a good job of making sure the workload is balanced across the team when the gears start turning fast. What stands out most is how much I have learned here. PullSpark invests in you, your skills, your leadership style, your confidence, and your growth trajectory. You never feel stagnant. You are constantly exposed to new challenges, new clients, and new ways of leveling up your craft. And the team? Honestly, that is the secret sauce. This crew is talented, collaborative, fun, and fully committed to delivering great work and having a good time along the way. We have lively happy hours, team retreats, and plenty of moments that remind you why you enjoy coming to work every day. If you are looking for a place that blends creativity, fast paced production energy, meaningful growth opportunities, and genuinely good humans, PullSpark is absolutely worth a hard look.

Cons

Some cons to be aware of are that busy seasons can definitely get intense and hours can run long. The team is small and scrappy, so sometimes everyone wears multiple hats, which is great for development but can feel like a lot when everything hits at once. The overall pace is fast and expectations are high, so anyone who prefers a slow or highly predictable work environment might feel out of sync. And because processes evolve as the company grows, there are moments where you have to pivot quickly and adjust to new workflows.
