They promise a fantastic opportunity but in reality, you end up doing ALL the work well outside your job description and work long hours on projects you were not hired to do but yet you crush it, making a huge impact that everyone is benefiting from (besides the person who actually did the work).
This resulted in sacrificing any bonus opportunities you were promised when hired because you’re too busy doing your managers job to even do your own.
Then as a “thank you” for all your efforts, the manager actually takes credit for your achievements and ideas.
As if that’s not bad enough, this manager tells you what you want to hear praising you etc but in reality they are telling the higher ups a different story and giving you no credit. Very sneaky and deceitful but senior management is clueless this goes on.
Don’t make the same mistake I did but if you do accept any opportunity here, watch your back.
