We're sorry you had a difficult experience at QE in your time here. It sounds like you were here during a time of extended growth, and in those moments we all tend to pitch in and make an impact, and as our company grows, tenured employees tend to shoulder new work outside of their 'job description' - that's true in any company! And sometimes managerial relationships are really hard to navigate, so we encourage you to do some training in how to deliver upward feedback, voice your concerns, and also be transparent with your own leadership going forward. We're doing a lot to help upskill our managers (who are mostly organically promoted from within, by the way!) to take on leadership and build their managerial presence. So, if you're a job seeker and reading this review, please know we have top notch managers, training, and teams who get a lot of incredible credit for the hard work they do. While this review is a bit dated by the time we could respond, we do feel QE Solar pays a great wage compared to experience coming in the door. It also helps for candidates to know your career's pay scale for the area you live! Glassdoor and other online resources can help you understand what's fair and comparable for your level of experience, too. There's a ton of opportunity for overtime, especially in the summer when the daylight hours are longer!
