Pros

Innovative product Nice people at the non-management level

Cons

Too many to mention but I'll list the top few: CEO micromanages (condescendingly so). All Management (Including CEO) are untrustworthy and pass "fault" down. High turnover rate due to good people quitting and getting fired (most because of Management incompetence). Bunch of trailers as offices and barns as storage space.

I'm sorry you feel that way. We've addressed the facility issues in a number of responses. Our facilities are what they are for now...however, they are filled with great people who are doing meaningful, quality work. We are a successful company that continues to grow and we make products that are sold in more than 70 countries around the world. The success of this company can be contributed to every employee that works here, at every level. I am sorry it was not a fit for you.

They really don't care

Pros

Great products, good pay as a machinist, 4 10 hour days on night shift was nice, most coworkers care about each other

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about employees at all. They'll run you dry, and all together make it an unpleasant work environment. The owner seems to not understand how messed up the place really is 84 just doesn't care. When I worked there, it was a handful of cheap buildings and trailers thrown together. The break area was a few tables thrown together, with one fridge for the entire staff. The machines weren't used to anywhere near their abilities, focusing more on the operator to do un needed work. The entire shop was dirty at any given time. Working as a machinist with carbon fiber, I requested a respirator, and after three weeks of breathing in the dust I was still unable to have management supply me one although it was promised to me a dozen times by multiple people. All together it was just an unpleasant, unwelcoming work environment, from the machinist lead being cold and unwelcoming, to management not caring about anything other than "when will it be done". Quality took a back seat to speed, and many tins items with quality issues were shipped anyway and returned fairly regularly. I do not recommend employment here.

Falling apart from the inside

Pros

Good products, good people who want to make a difference.

Cons

Used to be an innovative company, but in the last three of four years only basic accessories have been released. Two of the top sales reps left due to reduction in compensation, which was further reduced last year after the annual YTD bonus was removed. Were told numerous times how the company has gone LEAN, but after 10 years there is still a tremendous backlog which we never got out of. Went from 2 day lead time to over 7 day lead time on consumable products. and ever after changing the lead time, many orders still were past due. Bad decisions made from the top down such as having Customer Service Reps work on assembling products (these are medical devices by the way) mean while, the phones were not answered as fast as normal. Moral is rock bottom low; launched new products at major trade show only to be with out samples and marketing materials to show to customers (for months). Absolutely horrible training, condescending management styles. It's gotten so bad, its hard to believe anything management says. I left the company because it was starting to become a broken record of the same issues (lead times never being fixed), compensation being decreased, lack of transparency and extremely poor to no communication. It is sad really, for a while we were really taking market share and bringing up the industry through innovation.
