    Pros

    Flexible work and fits around study. Great for those who want to work part time.

    Cons

    Very little full time jobs, long hours and not great if you have a family. It's the nature of the work

    Respect staff and ensure you have enough staff to cater for events

    I have been working at Quality Inn & Suites full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Love working here. The GM is very hardworking and helpful. If I have any questions or concerns I can go to him anytime and he helps me with it. My supervisor the Front Desk Manager Harry is also very helpful. He is the one who trained me personally and I share the front desk with him Mon-Fri. I have a feeling I will become a Manager very soon myself the way they have complimented my work ethics and my drive to be successful.

    Cons

    No health insurance or any other insurance but it is a franchise so that is common with franchisees.

    Advice to Management

    Just do what you are doing and recognize your employees and the job they do.

    friendly coworkers, decent pay for a pretty easy job overall, good benefits

    none really, communication could be a bit better

    Keep it up! Management is very good at recognizing employees.

    I don't get enough hours now. I was full time an they keep hiring people an now put me to part time for no reason.

    Pros

    I loved the one to one interaction with the guests and be able to assist them with their needs was very rewarding in its self.

    Cons

    Not being able to give the customer what they wanted on our sold out days, and having to walk them, not my favorite thing.

    Love the job and was glad i had the opportunity to work for you.

    Pros

    It is a great place to work with amazing staff around you. Every day is a little different, which makes for an exciting atmosphere.

    Cons

    The scheduling is based off of the booking of our conference centre. If the season slows down, so do shifts. Fortunately, those who work more during the peak season get priority during off season, so it is actually pretty balanced, and works out.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work. Love the job. Love the staff. Love the management!

    A Low Stress Work Environment

    Might be called upon to do a lot of extra duties that aren't in the job description such as preparing breakfast.

    Advice to Management

    Don't wait two weeks to tell an employee they've been taken off the schedule.
