Pros
Responsibility and ownership that management expects of themselves and teammates, culture, mission, comfort, purpose, coworkers, and much more. As far as a place you have to work, it hasn't always been a walk in the park, but I've never doubted my purpose, and always found the light at the end of the tunnel outshines whatever current issue has to be worked on. Job security is also quite valuable, as long as you are ready to work hard up front to dig into your spot on the team. PTO and benefits are mind boggling. Almost seem too good to be true.
Cons
Hectic moments from time to time. It's par for the course, I guess. Only real complaint is that occasionally there has been a lack of communication (IMO, you will get this anywhere you work). This goes hand in hand with a lack cross team expertise, which makes personal work hours somewhat rigid at times. However, this specialized expertise that you obtain makes your role invaluable to the team. There is little concern about job security when you work hard and own what you do.
