Pros

You can make a nice commission with hard work.

Cons

First of all, this is NOT "Recruitment". This is a sales job 100%. Every second you work is accounted for. If you take 1 brief washroom break there will be comments about your active bladder from management (You get no breaks apart from a 1 hr lunch). You work 4 straight hours with no breaks in the afternoon from 1-5 PM. It is just unbelievable how unprofessional the office is. The "Morning Meetings" are simply repeated daily: The owner talks about how rich and successful he is and embarrasses a new person everyday. Despite being advised during my interview there was no sales you had to achieve, this is simply not true. If you don't quickly recruit doctors or pharmacists, you'll be treated like garbage. Red flags went up my first day as everyone I met but two people advised me they had recently started at the company. The turnover is pretty unbelievable. Management will act like they are such a great company, but they'll hire anyone off the street. Very few will put up with their nonsense. The owner seems to be compensating for something. It's impressive to hear once how successful you are: hear it everyday, and it gets old real fast. I was disgusted how unprofessional some relief pharmacists were spoken to on the phone. And their quotes on how much they charge for Doctors differs with each person.

Pros

None really come to mind except the fact that they will literally hire anybody because they can't keep people around for more than a few weeks a time.

Cons

High turnover rate, low base salary for the industry, vision without direction. The absolute worst aspect of working here is that you essentially give up your basic human rights. If you've become accustomed to the basic levels of decency and respect that you've been given literally everywhere else, you can throw those expectations out the window. Here you will be spoken to as if you are human garbage, completely incompetent and incapable of doing anything with having your hand held.

Not what I was expecting

Pros

Learned who I do not want to work for.

Cons

Management micro manages EVERYTHING including you sleep schedule on weekends... if your not up by 9am on weekends you get penalized. Expect about 100 emails per day from the owner with cryptic abbreviations that you should "just know. Treat Pharmacists (staff) like garbage, no respect at all for the people that keep their business running. Highly competitive sales environment. Very cut throat, if you want to be part of a team this is not the place for you. Other sales people will hide their candidates in database and manipulate data so you cannot find candidates. Extremely hostile work environment. If you have a tough skin you can survive, but if you want to come to work and feel accepted and welcome, do not work here.
