Occasional drop and hook freight

Cons

Super singles, 90% of loads are very heavy, trucks are junk and will spend weeks in hotel broken down, 95 corridor, low miles, home time based on hours and not days, sitting, 50% of loads must be strapped for beer delivery.

Decent pay was making $0.46 a mile and decent equipment. Equipment rarely broke down. And a $25 a week Flying J pilot food card. Predictable runs always going to the same locations.

Cons

A lot of misleading information, about layover pay, in short-haul pay. Average miles 2000 + or -. Checks average 600 - 1000.
