Good benefits and the company has survived several changes in ownership. I enjoyed working with several employees and suppliers at this company.
Cons
Pay is below market, company is consolidating under Eriks, lost exclusivity on core product lines, lack of job stability, stressful work environment, key sales and marketing team members left the company, the entire management team left, loss of suppliers, employee turnover, you have to have another job offer before they will give you a raise.
Acquired by larger company. Processes and structure might improve with the new leadership.
Cons
There are no processes in place that management has created for the mid-level accountant to reference. The current ERP system has many issues creating work that can triple the use of resources to confirm your own data. Accounting management talks badly about their employees to their subordinates creating a negative work environment. Vulgarity is an issue regarding this specific management creating a very unprofessional culture. Rawson Co. was acquired several years ago. Hopefully, the ERIKS corporate culture and structure will bring order to Rawson, especially the accounting department leadership. Not a good place to work as compared to other private and public companies.
