Pros

You can buy extra holiday The people that I work with in my team are great. It’s a real family feel.

Cons

Disorganised and chaos everywhere you turn. There is a terrible blame culture in the organisation and there’s people forever trying to make you do work that isn’t your remit. Too many lazy managers in the place. Also zero diversity or inclusion. All white faces in senior positions and there appears to be no attempt to address this in any way. Very commercial and not focused on the learner. Very over worked and underpaid. Salaries are shocking and well below industry standards so the staff turnover is awful. The only reason I’m still working at the company is because it’s 100% working from home which suits my work life balance but ordinarily I would have left ages ago. I’m totally disengaged and can’t be bothered and put minimal effort in on a daily basis as I feel totally taken advantage of by the senior management team.

Pros

Birthday and Christmas Eve Leave. You work with some awesome trainers.

Cons

Micro-management, to the excess, this is a company that puts profit before the learners. You are told how to complete surveys to make the company win awards. Pay what is offered at interview is not given. No progress opportunities if your face doesn’t fit. Click culture, it is who you know and not what you know. You are NOT allowed to have a voice or an opinion unless it involves the word “YES”. Some people are just promoted, which is not fair for other employees who might have been interested in applying for the position yet those same jobs were not advertised internally or externally, they are just given to the people whose face fits. Managers who don’t know how to support you. Excessive caseloads for trainers who are still expected to get every learner through. No admin days, because the caseload is too big, therefore no work life balance as your working round the clock. Advertising itself as a WFH Remote company that actually does nothing to help the employees with the rising costs of electricity and heating. Pay is very poor considering the job description. Hugely high staff turnover because the processes and procedure which are changed on a regular basis are not realistic.

Pros

Met some really lovely people, not managers though, but colleagues.

Cons

Not sure where to start for this one, * high case loads *high demand on assessors, to meet KPIs * unrealistic demands and constant change of paper work and ways of working. *often bullying and intimidation to ensure that you meet their targets amd if not then you are often ridiculed in front of other staff. *progression ,again if your face fits. * female higher management sending out emails in regards to the menopause, stating that it is a trend/ faff and that women have been going through this for years , so basically get on with it! * wages are not standardised and people are on varying wages ,even though they are in the same role. * job role more admin than teaching. The list could go on, however I'm in no doubt looking at the pattern of reviews that have been put on this website, that as soon as this review becomes on line, that there will be a further positive review put on by higher management!
