      Quantity over Quality

      This firm is the definition of quick and dirty accounting. They hire under qualified bookkeepers with very little experience, and load them up with accounts exceeding maximum capacity ASAP. Month end reviews done by someone who actually knows the difference in debits and credits? Those don’t happen. Balance sheet schedules? Those don’t exist. Hard to even call this place an accounting firm. They would rather pay people next to nothing and hope the client doesn’t notice the “bookkeeper” is fumbling through a reconciliation. They struggle tremendously with customer service, but somehow don’t see the correlation with inexperience and unhappy clients. For the handful of people who are accountants you are extremely underpaid and definitely used and abused. Medical insurance is not great. PTO is accrued at 10 days/year; you can expect to be completely burnt out before you have enough PTO to actually take a vacation.

      Thank you for the feedback. We continue to work on improving our service level, hiring quality employees and making this a great place to work. We've definitely had our share of challenges as we've grown significantly over the past couple years and the demand for our services continues to increases every day. We do believe our benefits offerings are actually better than market when compared to what other online accounting firms our size are offering.

      used to be a good company until structure changed

      remote work opportunity and flexible work schedule

      Cons

      Sales department under sold many jobs because many of them don't have accounting back ground, accountants are overloaded with heavy work tasks. After company structure changed accountants has limited training resources and be dumped with heavy work load. work-life balance won't exist anymore. unlimited unpaid time off the table, over-time off the table instead the bonus program is just an excuse to put more work load on you while at the same time you have to pass client satisfaction. won't pay you accrued paid time off when you leave the company. Low pay by comparison with same industry, health benefit wasn't good, dental and vision is ok.

      If you don't take pride in your work, this is the place for you.

      Cons

      Quick. Dirty. Love to dole out "promotions" and new "titles" that mean absolutely nothing in terms of level of service or quality of work.
