      The 3 R's of Refine Labs - Reduce Headcount, Restructure The Company, Repeat

      Pros

      - Some of the best and brightest minds in the B2B space worked here - The core employees are down to earth, humble and love what they do - HUGE emphasis on DEI that really shines - Opportunity to foster meaningful and fulfilling client relationships - Great pay

      Cons

      - They pulled some real Ebenezer Scrooge shi*t and fired almost 20% of their staff 3 weeks before Christmas - They have laid off 40% of their total staff since summer of 2022 due to miscalculated financial projections, continuous restructuring and overall mismanagement - New restructuring of the company, new process or some sort of change to the business every 2-4 weeks - Upper management does not communicate anything to employees and it is all kept very hush hush until the last moment, then followed up with no explanation - I am writing this review as a cautionary tale to those who want stability in their jobs, because you will not find it here

      Chris Walker is not fit to be CEO

      Pros

      Some hard-working, caring people want the best for the company.

      Cons

      Chris is a silver-spooned, small ego with a complex because a company many years ago didn't let him do want he wanted. He thinks he invented LinkedIn and will not listen to his own exec team if they don't provide updates or recommendations that align with his fragile personality. There are other ways to obtain worth in life outside of LinkedIn engagement, and I hope you find that before you run your company into the ground.

      Pros

      The individuals you get to work alongside are freaking amazing! Most talented group of people I have ever worked with. Your clients are usually Series A to Series C B2B SaaS companies, and for the most part are enjoyable to work with.

      Cons

      No one knows what they heck is going on. 2 rounds of layoffs, 3 pivots, and now more and more people are leaving. They took on a funding round after laying people off and were trying to develop their own Tech and IP. So they're an agency trying to be a tech/research org??? And if you're a PMM you can forget about ever getting promoted to a Director role.
