Morale is low

Pros

Amazing people and exposure to high level clients and work.

Cons

Overall morale is extremely low - no upward trajectory even though they promise it to everyone. They care too much about employees' social status - the more followers you have on IG, the higher they think of you and your abilities. Like a popularity contest for adults.

Pros

The team both on the commercial and editorial side were the most talented, smart, passionate and fun group - genuinely dedicated to properly representing modern women and gender expansive groups.

Cons

Promoted a sometimes unrealistic hustle culture, impacted young people’s perspectives of what success should look like.

Cons

VMG have a lot to answer for, particularly for how they stripped R29 for parts and neglected talent
