Pros

Absolutely nothing. Low salaries, unpaid overtime, office gossips at the management level, manipulative behaviors from management. I made friends at RemotoDojo. Even if we don't all work together now, we still talk and hang out.

Cons

When I was working at RemotoDojo, developers were being taken off projects and assigned to other projects without any notice . Some developers did not have the skills necessary to do the work but the management didn't care. They just wanted to get money from the unsuspecting clients. Some clients were supposed to have senior developers and ended up having interns working on their projects . The clients eventually found out after not understanding why the deliverables were so awful . It created a lot of stress on the client side and on the developer side. Since the management knows nothing about IT, they were incapable of doing their jobs. They didn't understand how to make sure that projects were on the right track . Since the "top" management didn't know how to do anything, they promoted a WordPress developer and a Quality Assurance associate to managers . The reason why they did this was to shift the blame on other people rather than themselves. As far as SEO is concerned, the only project we worked on was the CEO's car rental business. The "CEO's" car rental business has terrible reviews, which is not surprising. He always shouted at us but he didn't understand that the bad reviews are why he's not getting business . There was some tensions for the month I worked there. The CEO fired all the good workers after the company's party. From what former employees told me, more than 50% of the people left at the company resigned . Being INSULTED, shouted at, and diminished by a management that does nothing all day besides smoking cigarettes is not what skilled employees are looking for. This why your former employees would resign the day after they received their salaries. A former employee told us that the "C-level" management hired their wives when everybody resigned including other C-level employees. The founders of RemotoDojo left the company after the "CEO" was hired. Now, the company is staffed with interns that are presented as experienced and qualified professionals. Nobody in Cebu wants to work for a company that doesn't value mental health, work/ life balance, and paying its employees decent salaries.

Pros

* You get to learn in a really hard way. A whole lot harder than you think or expect.

Cons

* Projects are poorly managed. Instead of hiring an effective Project Manager, they prefer to promote someone into one with no experience in project management and only plays games during working hours. * Management refuses to acknowledge any negative feedback from employees and will hold a grudge against employees who provided such feedback and will bully them. * Instead of hiring developers who can actually help with the projects, all they just keep accepting are for the admin department. * Delayed salaries. * The CEO can't make up his mind. One day he approves something, the next day he screams in disapproval on what he previously approved. * The CEO actually does nothing and just roams around the office stating who he should be firing next. * Management has zero ideas about technicality and throws the devs under the bus during meetings with clients. * Company has been operating for over a year, they promised HMO but did not provide it.
