OK, that's a tough one to read ! Firsly, I'm sorry you feel that way but I have to say it doesnt ring true to me and fortunately is very different from most reviews. We have a great team of people - I'm proud of them all- but particularly the management team who are the most kind and supportive people I know. We / I go out of our way to reward and recognise all members of the team and I am thrilled we have just paid out record bonuses to everyone ( not just managers !! ) I wish you well in the future but I would be surprised if you find a more welcoming and supportive group of people than my colleagues at ResourceBank.

Pros

The vast majority of the employees are really nice people, very welcoming.

Cons

No leadership whilst moving the goalposts. TL was more worried about being re-elected to a councillor position locally than anything to do with my work. Left to my own devices without any feedback to then be told o had not passed my probation. The anxiety of not knowing what would happen next was really effecting my mental health and I told HR this. I did not pass my probation and was told maybe I shouldn't drink energy drinks that may be effecting my mental health.... Amazing lack of wellbeing management or care. I felt really let down by everyone involved and had a young child at home to support.

I was sorry to hear about your experience with ResourceBank and I would hope this is not representative of how we operate in general. We do allow our colleague to explore and enjoy other interests but it sounds like your TL may have taken this too far - I know this won’t happen again. We wish you well in the future and hope you have found a good fit for your skills.

Pros

there aren't any to speak of

Cons

Smug management who abuse the mental health of employees. A member of staff was fired for having mental health problems and told she drinks too many energy drinks. resourcebank are a dreadful company and I can't say anything good about them. they also have poor client retention and a holier than thou attitude.

What can I say other than this SIMPLY IS NOT TRUE and I’m upset that anybody would describe us in this way ? If you have a serious concern you are welcome to contact me and I will listen but I hope you will also accept you may have got this wrong. We have just won RPO of the year, we keep our clients ( I think we have a world record for the longest RPO partnership ! Most importantly we take the wellbeing of our colleagues very seriously- this can be a stressful job at times and I am full of admiration for the professionalism and dedication of the team. I’m still upset about the word ‘smug’ , we are nothing like this ! Richard
