Pros
RLM is a very fast-paced, high stress firm. You will work on some very high-profile accounts and the work that is doen for the client is taken extremely seriously. RLM prides itself on the high-quality work product - from communications plans to media monitoring. Compensation is above average for the industry, but you will work hard for it.
Cons
Accounts are run very top-heavy. Partners and Principals are the most visible on the account, and anyone below the VP level has very little contact with the client. There is a certain level of distrust among the management that the junior staff is capable of producing work products on their own. The firm is very "political" - and there is a heavy feeling of favoritism at the firm. The highest levels of management are not seen around the firm, though there presence is reflected on monthly invoices. If you are not prepared to regularly work 65+ hour weeks and weekends, this is not the place for you.
