      Sometimes the travel can be exhausting but it's also the reason I love it so it's a tough one!

      Pros

      No micro-managing! Not punitive when mistakes are made - more of a "learn from your mistakes" type of place. Flexible hours, casual attire, fun atmosphere! Staff can work remotely and there's opportunities to travel the world! Can't get much better than that.

      Cons

      High workload. Work/life balance can be difficult to maintain due to this. But the flexible hours and the ability to work at home help with this a lot.

      Dedicated, passionate team, especially in the senior management. Committed to getting it right, receptive to feedback, and supportive of staff. Unique position within the industry - large enough for lots of opportunities but still with a family business feeling

      Some positions are very hard for a work/life balance Too much travel = relationships can suffer Stressful at times

      An Organization Full of Passion Working Toward One Mission

      Pros

      A company of highly skilled individuals working toward a single mission. Employees are valued for their talents and encouraged to work toward both professional and personal growth. Senior leadership is constantly working to be more transparent, open, and honest which is a welcome change from other organizations. Great company culture, benefits, no micromanaging, flexible schedule, and awesome travel opportunities.

      Cons

      Most positions end up wearing many hats which I personally enjoy, but might not be a fit for everyone. Work + life balance can be a challenge, along with working remote. Room for growth in some positions is limited.

      I built great friendships with people at Rustic Pathways. There are always people and teams you can get along with and have a good work/life balance. Fun to travel with your friends at work. Great fast paced culture. People care a lot about our students and our impact

      Cons

      Base salary was low when I started, but its getting better now.
