Run by a husband and wife couple - The CEO (husband), and the CFO (Wife), do not communicate properly and, often very unprofessionally. They constantly drag the emotion and matters in their personal life into the work environment. Rydeen North America is ran like a utterly and completely disfunctional family, where the CEO constantly misspeaks and defaults to the CFO's decision making process (the wife).
The CFO is where the cancer of the company lies. She is the catalyst for the miserable workplace morale. She very consistently rides rough shot over everyone, regardless of rhyme or reason. Essentially if you have a dissenting opinion from the her she will put a target on your back and make your work life miserable. She is petty and vindictive and often lets her personal feelings cloud better judgement. The CFO would rather pinch her pennies than pinch herself awake so she can see how toxic of a work environment she created. Literally everyone there (during the time I was employed) hated her and was made miserable by her either directly or indirectly. She is a fake person, and quite possibly one of the worst people I have ever had the pleasure of being harassed by.
The CFO creates a work environment in which she manipulates, one against the other, the whole time to the dismay of middle management. When one tries to speak truth to power, they will make that individual the scapegoat the target of all blame and eventually replace them. WARING YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - Rydeen employee turnover right is incredible high. This company does not care about its employees only the work they provide to pad their (CEO & CFO's) pockets.
This is coupled with an absolutely atrocious benefits package (if you can call it that) - No 401K, Healthnet Medical Insurance (Yes the same horrible medical that Medical uses - one step removed), Upon my hire in 2016 there was no dental until half way through the year (dental and vision are now packaged together). The only reason why they even provided Health insurance is because they have been forced to by the law - Healthnet, is notoriously bad and very cheap. Again Rydeen would sooner pinch pennies than provide a healthy work environment for their employees.
I urge anyone considering a position with this company to dig deep and do their research, this place is toxic and I do not want anyone to suffer at the hands of this horrible employer or the "opportunities" they may bait and switch you out of.
