Pros

Excellent wortk ethic,employees take pride in their work and delivery some of the best content and commentary specifically aroud oil markets and oil services. Very data centric, most staff are of a technical background and apply this to their work. International team, mature senior management who are willing to invest in their employees. Up and coming company with strong abititions from upper managent down to new recruits.

Cons

Slightly over cautions management - can be difficult to implemement change whitout unanimous desicions. Can sometimes be overly non-confrentational.

Pros

The London office is probably the most enjoyable globally. Drinks every other Thursday and a good atmosphere in the office. Employees are mostly left to decide exactly how and when to work, including wfh although the office is usually busy. It's a nice place to be and people are friendly. Pay is good and there's plenty of opportunity to travel but no compulsion to do so. There's a lot of autonomy given to individuals in terms of what to work on and how it gets done. Work life balance on the commercial side of the business is very good for most people. Less so in advisory.

Cons

Decision making can be challenging given flat structure. Processes and information are rarely standardised and there is generally resistance to attempts to centralise. Given the high level of individual autonomy people simply won't do things if they don't want to.
