Management blame staff for their incompetence, and have a tendency to be nice to your face, then slate you behind your back, sometimes within minutes of talking to you. You can be getting on with your job and be called into the office because someone won't take the blame for making a bad decision and costing the company money. Nobody takes responsibility for their mistakes and will flat out lie to your face after dropping you in it. Management will take you to one side and tell you your colleagues are useless, then tell your colleagues the same of you, essentially pitting you against each other. They claim to be a big family, but only because they've known each other for decades. Woe betide you if you have a life that doesn't involve going out on the razz with them.
