Pros
pros? well being around the fish is cool, teaching the youngens about the crabs and sea creatures. not much else. if youre young like me then bank holidays and weekends are essentially just days of the week so work life balance is alright
Cons
As a young male, as soon as i joined this company i was barraged by the young girls here who constantly gossip, trap you and cause problems, i tried to ignore it, but when i could and i bit back they went running to managment. totally toxic work culture and creepy managment filling their desks with very young girls, my ability to do my job was constantly questioned because apparently i wasnt as good as a girl would be in dealing with kids and being fun. i wasnt even given a chance. if you're a male DO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY. please dont make the same mistake i did. not to mention you'll find yourself ran off your feet for such a measly wage. others who dont care just letting everyone else do the work. zero job security, pathetic benefits package. progression? ha, youll be sacked before they promote you. lazy animal care team never cleaning. its a pig sty. if youve ever worked in sales, then you know what its like being forced to talk to people that really dont want to be spoken to. imagine that but 10times more invasive. constantly watched on the cameras as well. 2/10
