Pros

Full remote company (as long as you work in Spain).

Cons

The company is full of poser people who pretend to know more than they really do. Talented people are flocking away from the company and only unskilled people and bad (sometimes even toxic) managers are what remain (dead sea effect). They hire talented engineers and later tell them what to do. In fact, this is a "managers' company" pretending to be a technological one (even in its name), where engineers are second-class citizens. There's no career path for individual contributors (engineers), only for managers who even take credit for other people's work. In general, the atmosphere is toxic. I started with a lot of excitement in this company and over time it's been degrading more and more whilst talented people leave the company.

Pros

* The office offers free beer, which you might find necessary.

Cons

* Poor management by inexperienced and unskilled individuals. * The environment fosters a toxic culture where backstabbing among a close-knit group of colleagues is common. * Lack of career development opportunities; the setting encourages political maneuvering and dishonesty rather than skill enhancement. * SEAT:CODE lacks genuine coding expertise, with many posing as skilled professionals based on superficial words (and only words) from online sources. * It's not suitable for those looking to enhance their coding abilities.

Pros

2.000€ per year in trainings Great office in Barcelona They can offer you a visa to work in Spain. They look for "diversity" Work life balance

Cons

Inexperienced new technical directors and very bad management of the company since Carlos Buenosvinos left. SEAT imposes its non-agile rules, ways of doing, culture and values. Even if SEAT:CODE tries to have their own things, the end word is from SEAT. At the end it is not an horizontal company. No career path. Limited yearly increase of salary (10% maximum and not common). Lot of legacy code. They hire people saying they want to create products but it works as a consultancy to SEAT. Talented people leaves the company.
