Pros

Struggling to think of any, so none.

Cons

Toxic work environment. The only time you'll ever get thanked is whilst receiving your yearly 0.1% pay rise (they call it a pay rise, we call it a joke) - but they are quick to blame you or pull you up on things. There are a handful of people that gain promotions in the company and it depends what department you work in and who your manager is. From what I've witnessed, your best bet is to hand in your notice - but again this only works for a handful of individuals. Others will just get told they are replaceable. There are zero benefits, unless you want 5% off an old apple or dell product. Everything is statutory - they will give you the bare minimum. Lack of support all round. You're actually made to feel scared to ask for support and most people don't bother speaking their mind because they know nothing will ever come of it and it will likely just be held against them in the future. Everyone who is not a manager in that company feels the same way. You'd struggle to find a company that cares less about its employees. They will only do enough to tick the legal boxes. If you really can't find anything else, take the job for a while but don't get stuck and don't put your all into it because you won't get anything back. They'll just suck the life out of you.

Pros

The team I work with is great and so is the client

Cons

Staff are under appreciated, there is no perks and no fair pay between the same job roles across the company. Management have no understanding of planning ahead and leave employees stuck trying to make excuses to clients to cover the company’s lack of care. There is no diversity and there is no care for work/life balance. If COVID-19 wasn’t around I would leave, but due to lack of work multiple people fee trapped and the company fully take advantage of that during a pandemic.

Pros

Paid on-time, if you're fortunate the clients you work with genuinely care about you as well as some in your Team. There are rare individuals who go out of their way to make working hours more bearable.

Cons

Toxic work culture that values an imbalanced work life - work first, life second. Big Brother culture where chatting on-site is frowned upon and working from home is seen as impossible due to lack of company trust. Diversity and inclusion is non-existent, progression is a dangled carrot in an attempt to keep you with the business. Loyalty is demanded yet the package is below average, management demonstrate no leadership and have zero inspirational qualities. Management have their favourites and accordingly treat staff based with bias. Culture is one big internal PR exercise from corporate- inability to genuinely care for staff and their welfare. Can't keep good staff, simply not able to. The pandemic has trapped too many good people to stay who deserve better. I hope those who realise they are worth more and deserve better than to be treated like a number find an employer that helps them to flourish.
