Pros

The instructors are the greatest, they are the front line. The sim techs do a wonderful job with what they have. Great benefits.

Cons

When the simulators aren't fixed and problems are the same for years, the Instructor has egg on their face, and the clients do not return. Upper management doesn't want to do what the FAA requires of them for a part 142 Training Facility. One upper manager is known as the axe man. Employees don't get any warnings, he just comes in and tells the Center Manager to get rid of them. He even knows all the employees worry about who is going to be "next". It doesn't matter if they are doing a good job or not, he has a different plan. Each facility does not have the same requirements for Instructors as to how many airplanes they must teach. How can an Instructor maintain the proficiency required if you have to teach too many airplanes? How many is too many? I taught 8 and they wanted more! Other FAA Part 142 Facilities ony have you teach 1 airplane! The sim techs have their hands tied with how far they can go to repair the simulators. Its all dollar driven.

Pros

We have been informed that we want go to jail for our actions here.

Cons

Employees are told to falsify documents all the time to keep the doors open. Those people who comply with this strategy move up. Those that don't find them selves out the door,

Pros

Previous focus on personal training and customer satisfaction was profitable and held growth potential. Proper management could bring this back to easily begin to right the ship. Potential for success is high. Friendly personable staff can and does deliver a great training experience.

Cons

Uncertainty of the future erodes morale and a desire to grow with the company. Current focus on regulatory compliance and legal paranoia is detrimental to success.
