      Pros

      I had a great experience working at SMRTL. There were many opportunities for growth. The people there are close knit and truly care for one another.

      Cons

      This summer time is the busiest time of year for this particular lab, which means that getting time off during the summer is a little bit difficult. But there are plenty of opportunities for time off in the winter and spring time.

      Good company that clearly cares for its employees. Stable job. Great benefits. Great employees/coworkers. Work is generally fun and you know everyone.

      Cons

      Small company so every change (good, bad, or neither) is felt by everyone. Primarily working with urine, which isn't amazing.
