Pros

Fun people. You are only taught basic skills of excel and PowerPoint , the role is a lie and you are not a business analyst/strategic consultant so there are no prospects for your career. Because of the "family" culture it's a toxic environment where only favourites are promoted- you are more likely to be promoted if you're white. There is a known diversity and inclusion issue so please do not apply if that is of value to you otherwise you will be disrespected. The parents of this family (management) do not know what their doing but you can probably tell from the other reviews on Glassdoor.

Cons

You will develop a mental illness You will not personally nor professionally develop You will not get promoted if you're BME You will be treated unfairly by seniors and they will get away with it. You will sacrifice your life with those ridiculous working hours during busy season Do yourself a favour and get a real job with real prospects. You can thank me for saving you.

Pros

I'm only here still because of the people and the current pandemic has heavily reduced job prospects, especially as I have 2 years listed as a Junior Business Analyst at STEM without doing any BA work that any respectable firm would consider.

Cons

There is no ounce of BA work at all. The management is awful, heavily based on who you like in order for you to progress. The high requirements for the job do not make any sense as the work doesn't require any brain cells. The hours during the busy periods are ridiculous.

Pros

The relaxed office environment is definitely the biggest positive of working here, everyone is very friendly and willing to help out. People are also very intelligent and if you're proactive in asking, you can learn a lot about pharmaceuticals which is applicable to other jobs in the pharma world (consulting, health comms etc). The onboarding training is very well run and allows people to comfortably get up to speed with the work. Provides client exposure which as a first job is very important. I would recommend this as a first-time job if someone has never been exposed to working life

Cons

The salary is very low (compared to similar roles in other companies) and doesn't justify the amount of work put in, especially during the 'busy period' which requires people to stay very late e.g. 9 pm/10 pm If you want to go into coding or other analytical roles it will be very hard as this role doesn't use software most jobs require and trying to get your foot in the door without this exposure will be very difficult - only PowerPoint & Excel is used. There is no consistency in the way people are promoted, many feel that there is deep-rooted nepotism within the company. There aren't long-term career prospects
