30+ years experience - HORRIBLE COMPANY

Pros

Company probably won't go out of business, thats about it.

Cons

I have 30+ years experience in the construction industry & have never worked for such a horrible company. The company solely cares about making money, not its employees in the least. I had such high hopes when I started in this position but quickly realized how secondary everything is to profit for Peter Emmons. He "talks a good talk" about working environment etc. etc. but all in all it is truly the worst place I have ever worked & I was a salaried employee. Ive never been so thrilled to quit a job.

Pros

Organized and know how to pursue and acquire work. Offer decent benefits, projects tend to be coordinated and planned well.

Cons

Hispanics and African Americans make up the majority of the manpower, but not the upper management. Spoken with several 10 to 20+ year qualified African American employees that have not been promoted to superintendents. I have been harassed by superintendent and unable to report what happened while employed. Company will overload your schedule with multiple projects; making it difficult to achieve a reasonable work life balance.
