I have been working at Safe Haven Security full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good freedom and mornings are your own. Hard work ethic is a must.

    Cons

Straight commission and support from above is not very good. Most competition is from ADT and other ADT dealers.

    Advice to Management

    Better support needed.

I have been working at Safe Haven Security full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The hours are long and kind of flexible. The pay is fine when you are getting it.

    Cons

Oh boy, here we go. So I was hired here to be an installer, but the job is a sales position. I mean, you do actually install things, but you aren't really graded on that. You are expected to get $x in sales at each and every install and that's frankly bogus. Also, you aren't paid hourly. You are paid on work you do. I've been here less than a month and I've had 3 weeks where I had multiple days without any work. In...

    Advice to Management

Maybe don't lie to people who genuinely express this distaste for sales jobs and tell them it's not that. Then also don't hire more people than you can keep working.

I worked at Safe Haven Security full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good pay for 70-80 hour weeks. Good income if you can sell.

    Cons

Don't pay overtime. Leave home at 6:00 AM, get home at 9:00-10:00 PM, you didn't put in 8 hours by their count. Management is based on favoritism. Management has no clear plan to grow and blames field personnel for their personal failings.

    Advice to Management

Your people are your not just your most important asset, they are your only true asset. This is a service, not a product, based business. The more you berate your staff, especially high performing staff, the less they wan to work for you. Good luck with that.

    Pros

time, unless they track you it can be flexible.

    Cons

the apps they have you download track your every single move, the police have been known to go undercover as a ADT "authorized dealer" and they got me doing their work for them, if you move weight for the trap then dont do this

    Advice to Management

stop the network marketing / multi-level marketing scheme within your business

I worked at Safe Haven Security full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    High potential pay, no office.

    Cons

Company culture, company policy, lack of organized training. Basically, they’ll ask you to come to a meeting in uniform 3 -4 hours a week and pressure you to not clock in the hours (also, no compensation). The training process is terrible. You get one day with the manager, If you’re lucky. The rest is doing walk alongs with techs that have no training in how to train, and no incentive to do a good job at it....

    Advice to Management

Don’t treat your employees the same way you treat your customers. Stop intentionally breaking labor laws. Actually develop a cohesive training program for techs. The high turnover rate is a direct reflection on how people view working for your company. Literally anyone could do the sales tech job and still have good numbers. What pushed good employees out of your company is the poor company culture and...

I have been working at Safe Haven Security full-time for less than a year

      Pros

      - friendly techs - sorta reimbursements

      Cons

Let’s start with the lying. Signed up to be a technician. I wanted no sales involved with my job. However the company pushes for sales on you as a technician. I flat out stopped lying to my home owners when they asked me if I was commission based. I told them they under pay us for what we do. We have to go over a “risk assessment” that’s basically a term for lemme try to persuade you to buys things. Paycor never works....

      Advice to Management

Remove commission base and pay us salaries. More jobs would get done. We would have set schedules as well.
