Pros

Getting to work at a global company equipped me with such a broad understanding of Marketing. From social media to email campaigns to events, you have the chance to develop your skills in everything! Really great staff and generally a good company to work for.

Cons

Sometimes with bigger companies comes a lack of creative freedom, but apart from that, there really is no downfall!

The company does offer some management training programs, which on the surface seem like a step in the right direction. However, these initiatives feel largely surface level to me, with little genuine effort to develop or support employees in meaningful ways.

Cons

After disclosing my pregnancy, I faced what I perceived as discrimination. Management was unsupportive, creating an uncomfortable and isolating environment. HR’s lack of an adequate response to my concerns left me feeling abandoned and powerless. Based on my experience and conversations with others, I believe this may reflect a broader issue within the company regarding how employee concerns are handled.

Made some good friends who are likeminded.

Cons

- filled with absolute nepotism (family and friends are gifted managerial opportunities over younger staff who have been with the company for 5+ years. - managers lack real corporate skills, it seems they are being employed off the side of the street. - limited pathways for developing staff. - Marketing Managers that don’t know how to use basic tools like Excel and Centre Managers that don’t know how to spell!
