    Positive Outlook

I worked at Seetec full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Loads of responsibilities to ensure are taken care of and fun managing the people. Good location in London with lots to do around and in the area.

    Cons

Not easy to get on with everyone. Mixed group of people to react to all the time from old women to young boys. Not ideal for salespeople.

    Advice to Management

Cut out the everyone anytime philosophy.

    I worked at Seetec full-time

    Pros

It’s a good starting place to gain skills and autonomy before moving on to somewhere else

    Cons

Targets are very hard to achieve

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on what’s been tried and tested instead of selling the next best thing to the board

I worked at Seetec full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The company pitches well for government contracts evidently with a success rate.

    Cons

I left my senior management position after 3/4 weeks - following training at various offices in East Anglia and North London. A truly horrible enviroment - overworked, underpaid staff with outdated management practices - no wonder that so many 'junior' emloyees in the regional offices I visited treated the people under their care with so much contempt. Horrible just horrible.

    Advice to Management

I am easy enough to find - if the MD/CEO wants to find find me.

Communications often left to gossip/word of mouth.

    I worked at Seetec full-time

    Pros

Salary was higher than the sector average. Technology was modern. Travel and expenses policy was good.

    Cons

Far too many to list. But some key ones were broken promises, 3 managers in 6 months, "North" meaning anywhere north of HQ in Essex, no, zero, none, nothing to measure your performance on, panic decisions and appointments, very reactive rather than proactive.
Have to reset passwords on equipment every 30 days, which is fine except the remote based staff needed to be in an office to do this.
Had to use their equipment regardless of it being fit for purpose or not.

    Advice to Management

Pointless. Staff are numbers and easily replaced.

I worked at Seetec full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Salary slightly higher compared to similar roles in the area
    Easy to get to location
    Nice offices and building
There is a work life balance with this role IE I never had to end up taking work home with me

    Cons

    No commission structure in place
    Terrible management
    No training given
Employee retention in general was shocking
    Lack of parking on site
0 Potential to progress or support given to progress
Micro management is how the offices are run here

    Advice to Management

Stop wasting your employees time trying to show authority through having staff meetings every 30 minutes. Be truthful with your employees, stop moaning at the staff about "cliquiness" when you are the main culprits of bad mouthing employees to one another.

I have been working at Seetec full-time

    Pros

Friendly team, poor management, poor HR

    Cons

HR team not good. No faith in organisation.

    Advice to Management

Take whistle blowers seriously instead of sticking up for poorly run managers!
