Being a smaller company, Sempris is a great place gain experience in areas beyond your specific expertise. I learned a lot about the marketing business, in general. It's a great place to learn and grow.
Cons
By the same token, there are always a lot of balls up in there, and lots of juggling of multiple projects and priorities. It's a fast-paced and challenging environment. This is not the place for someone who is change averse.
Because it is a small company, the amount of learning (and amount of hats you wear) is exceptional. The people are generally very kind, and you really get to be in charge of your own projects. Great HSA and standard 401k match.
Cons
Management is not great at giving forward notice for production release expectations. Benefits lacking behind other companies / no sick time, just general PTO. Pay lagger.
Confusing business model, unclear business goals. Many changes in C-level staff during my short tenure, leading to vacuums in leadership. No remote work option.
