Pros
Large company with lots of opportunity to travel. Good graduate teaching. High level of knowledge in experienced personnel to learn from.
Cons
Promotions given on length of service rather than ability. Favourites are given opportunities to develop and the choice of projects. If experience isn't gained in an area within the first year it is difficult to gain experience as you are not put on projects you can't contribute to immediately. Annual reviews are a paper exercise with little or no effect.
