To anyone considering a position at Simple Habit: Please know that I am deeply passionate about creating a company where employees can live better, every day. A company that embraces its employees with love, honesty and integrity. A company that invests in employees' personal and professional growth. I believe we have a real shot at building a great company and at the same time having a positive impact on this world. I want to address a couple of the points mentioned: 1. This person is right; we are an emerging startup. At Simple Habit, we work hard and we're passionate, and we like that those qualities fuel our company's growth. We've grown more than 5x in the past year and I attribute this to our team's hard work. 2. We have a beautiful meditation space in the office where we encourage employees to take mindful breaks. We're constantly taking coffee or boba breaks as a team too! And beyond the office hours, I want our employees to disconnect and enjoy real time off. I believe every employee should prioritize his or her mental and physical well-being. I acknowledge it can be difficult when the company is growing fast and there is a lot of work to do. Moving forward, this is something I can consistently remind the team of through communication but also in demonstration. 3. I'm sorry that our collaboration felt challenging. Through our coaching off-sites, one-on-one check-ins, and team events, I'm working hard to connect with employees to better understand each individual's preferred communication and work styles. I'm thankful that you took the time to share your opinion here so that I can reflect and find ways to ensure each person on this team feels appreciated and supported.
