Pros
The company works with really big partners (YouTube, Amazon, Uber, etc.) on large scale projects, so there is always a lot of excitement around releases and launches. Since we create a visible product (photos, videos, etc.) it is neat to see the finished work in the wild. Love that we are "growing the pie" for filmmakers and photographers; these are projects that wouldn't be available without our tools and partnerships. The company is bootstrapped which means we all have a lot of ownership and responsibility in our success. It creates a very entrepreneurial atmosphere in solving problems and growing the business. Fantastic work/life balance for a company of its size.
Cons
I love roller-coasters, but some folks wouldn't like highs and lows that most start-ups experience.
