Pros

Being able to work from home. Plus, there are some really great people at Snap, who work very hard and make work enjoyable, including the CEO/Founder. There are many kind and caring people, who I felt lucky to work with.

Cons

Snap has many great, talented employees, but unfortunately a few bad apples always seem to ruin the bunch. In general, most of the employees try incredibly hard to do the best work they can for the clients. Many times working late into the night, on weekends, and on personal vacations. Sadly, this goes unnoticed and is not appreciated. I was told early on from leadership that, "everyone is replaceable", and sadly that is the mind set of Snap. The biggest issues lie within just a few employees. Certain individuals are allowed to say and do whatever they want. This includes verbally harassing, belittling, and gas lighting staff, with no reprimand or punishment. There is a high turn over rate, and I noticed right away that the second a notice was given, that person was blacklisted and ignored. No exit interviews are conducted, unless you ask for one. Every professional job I have ever had, there has been a policy that exit interviews are conducted. I have also never worked somewhere where employees were given the silent treatment and treated so poorly after they put in their notice. You learn a lot about the values of a company based on the way you are treated on your first day, and your last day. "Kindness, integrity and empathy" are supposed to be some of those values, but they are severely lacking. There is always talk about improving and trying to be "the best", but I don't see how you can strive for those ideals if you aren't willing to talk to your staff and take constructive feedback.

Pros

My other co-workers and the friends i made when I worked there.

Cons

Leadership is nonexistent and the mediocre white male failing upward is strong here. They also had a tendency to inflate their numbers for reporting to local magazines etc.

Pros

Wonderful coworkers and everyone in the office is very friendly. It is a very approachable group and office. Many days you will find a four legged friend walking around the office. The CEO is friendly, understanding and cares deeply for his staff and clients. The fridge is usually filled with LaCroix, Beer and Wine. Snap also has free parking and picnic tables to sit outside in the summer.

Cons

Snap prides itself on Work-Life balance along with Unlimited PTO however, depending on the department that you work in that is not the case. Account Managers/Project Managers are not able to Work-From-Home most days as they have client facing meetings. SEO/Social team Work-From-Home 2-3 days a week. Depending on which department you work in, staff will show up anywhere from 9-10am and leave at 4pm while others are expected to answer slack notifications outside of business hours and frequently work at night. Nobody takes an official lunch break, many times people are eating lunch as they sit at their computer and continue to work. There is zero HR department and many issues brought to Leadership go without resolution. Very disappointed by the owners/management and their lack of communication to the team. There is a disconnect between upper management and the staff who is doing the work day in and day out. Internal communication is non existent, many times information will not get passed onto the correct team members or sales information is not given to the members working on the account. The processes in place for web builds and retainers are disorganized and all team members have created their own process due to the lack of being caught. Many team members teach themselves as leadership does not take the time to properly train employees.
