Fantastic people and a great product but questionable management/weak leadership taints what could be an awesome company
Pros
- The people are some of the nicest you'll meet along the way. Everyone drives you on to be the very best version of yourself and it's a joy to work with others that share the same passion as you - Being mostly remote allows a you to gain so much time back in your lives and is a huge plus for a company like this - The shows themselves still have elements of the joy and sparkle that attracted me to join the company all of those years ago. It can be lost in the odd show now and again but consistently 80-90% of the shows still showcase some unbelievable talent - Learning budget to be spent on development and gig tickets is a nice perk -
Cons
- Change of direction as soon as ideas go wrong/don't pan out as they are planned - HR is a hot mess. Constant changes of procedures implemented, lengthy and long hiring processes and lack of communication and leadership from people that are supposed to represent the people of the company leave people feeingl de-motivated and unimportant - Multiple rounds of redundancies and cut-backs after poor forecasting. - Spread themselves too thin in areas that weren't guaranteed to drive revenue, whilst ignoring the main core of the business. - Very hard to progress through the ranks due to lack of banding, new opportunities. You have to wait until someone leaves in order to get a promotion.
