Pros

They do have options for customers, which is great. Adjusting to their needs.

Cons

If you don't have a big network in your area you'll take 6 months, minimum, to see your first commission check. Way longer than any other commission only job. They ask you to get your license, buy their shirts and pay for their events knowing you won't be getting paid any time soon. There's definitely money to be made here but you have to have enough money or live with your parents to survive the first 4-5 months

Worst company ever!

Pros

None. This company doesn’t know how to do solar

Cons

When it comes to solar, there’s two directions. Good experience for the customer, or good experience for the representative working for them. Never both good, usually never both bad. But when it comes to SEP solar, it’s both bad. Terrifyingly bad. Embarrassingly bad. I first moved from texas to Oklahoma for this company, not knowing where they would set up shop cause they couldn’t find their way out of a paper bag, they finally say that we are moving Fayetteville arkansas, from there to pea ridge, now bentonville arkansas. I’ve had tons of cancels with them because it’s only a short while after being set up with them that the customer finds out they are about to go through a roller coaster of a ride. Also you don’t even know if you’re being set up by SEP or arrow point or arrow head solar. Worst experience ever. Steer clear of this company. The company I work for now does installs in two weeks, it takes SEP 6 months because they don’t know solar or how to do solar. And to top it off, all the 5 star reviews on here are all reps who work for the company who are pretending they had a good experience. I personally trained two of them.

Pros

They help the environment with solar

Cons

Horrible communication between departments. Sales don’t have tools to make it right for homeowners when mistakes are made and rely on managers who are overworked to get answers. Install process is horrible and takes months longer than other solar companies. They also don’t pay correctly, as I have jobs that were installed they never paid me on. I have a remaining customer that has had a nightmare for install and Solar Energy Partners ghosted me. They don’t respond, and they haven’t paid me for my final projects.
