Pros

Community Solar is a growing business with a lot of opportunity to earn There maybe 3 support staffers that are really nice, work hard, and keep the place afloat despite the lack of a leader

Cons

The positive reviews are plants. NOBODY enjoys working for this nitwit. Owner, Nathan, is incapable of being a leader. A 30-something year old that thinks he is special, when in reality, he is a mentally ill liar, and bully. Sales reps are underpaid and expected to work 7 days/week. Promises of large commissions never come to fruition. Owner tracks your every move. There are no capable managers because the owner pushes good people away. He has physically laid hands on sales people, constantly verbally abuses employees in group settings, harasses and stalks you at all hours of the night, and even tried to sleep with a potential employee he interviewed for a job that never existed. He thinks he is a good person but in reality is delusional . Nathan acts like he’s some tough guy from the ghetto because in his small mind he thinks that being “tough” is impressive when in reality it’s pathetic. He lies to sales people about potential earnings, and constantly moves the goalposts because he cannot close deals with solar developers, because of his toxic personality. He is widely know in the industry as being difficult to work with, and has burned every bridge he has ever crossed. Good luck if you want to work here. The “CEO” will undoubtedly run this company into the ground in a very short time. His “stalking” is very odd. Sends texts or calls late at night as if looking for a friend. He has no friends or family, and occasionally does something nice for an employee to buy their friendship and makes sure everyone notices. Do not work here!

Pros

You set your own schedule.

Cons

Everything else. Terrible benefits (just basic dental, health and vision? really???), ridiculously low base salary, toxic work environment and incompetent management. The CEO has no idea what he's doing but thinks he is a god, nobody ever knows anything if you have to ask for information. No training program. No growth opportunities.
