Toxic environment

Pros

Great and cool work, opportunities to advance because a lot of people are fired, and some people are hard and dedicated workers.

Cons

Toxic environment because of its bad management. No respect at all and some are sexist. Management scream at workers, they openly call out people in front of others even if they're new or another higher up. It's embarrassing to see. High turnover rate, even for the managers. Word of mouth runs the place because management is too busy doing other things. This means that a lot of scapegoating happens. Managers micromanage a lot, but it doesn't work because they don't know the process. You can also suddenly get no hours at all if the place is slow, without warning. And to top it off, it's dangerous. People are hurt a lot because they are treated like animals. They tell you things like "just move" if there's an unstable, heavy object towering above them, but people obviously still get messed up.

Pros

I liked some of my coworkers that is the only pro.

Cons

You may see the listing and their site and think " Wow what cool projects. I would love to work there." That was my thinking when I got a job here two years ago. Do not let a fancy site trick you into thinking this company is anything but a joke. The CEO clearly has no leadership skills and only has this company because daddy has paid for it so far. The CIO is honestly just an idiot that talks in circles. The CFO's ideas start and stop at laying off nearly everyone and hiring cheaper labor. These three are the leaders and decision makers of the company. This does not even get into lower leadership who seems to have only gotten their jobs from brown nosing or neopotism. Nearly every single project is run worse than a child's lemonade stand. Low bidding just to get jobs, using crappy materials to save money, and blaming people lower on the totem pole is the business model. Your experience and expertise means nothing to the people in charge here. Everything is about cutting corners and saving a buck upfront. I would honestly be shocked if this company lasts another year.

Pros

Coworkers were the best in the business

Cons

They don't pay their contractors. If you contract for them, don't expect to get paid. They still owe people from January and have stopped answering the phones/emails. They regularly fire most of their staff because they have no idea how to make a profit. They have no regard for experience or long time staffers. The people the board put in place are abrasive and don't understand the business world of the entertainment industry. They regularly hire people with no experience, leave them in positions of power long enough to make a mess, then those people are fired or leave and everyone else is left to pick up the pieces of a tornado they had nothing to do with.
