Pros

33 days holiday (including bank hols), 13:30 finish on Fridays, The job is interesting, I was able to learn a lot in my time there.

Cons

Manipulative managers, Bullying and blame culture, HR too afraid to help employees, Policies are meaningless as they are full of contradictions, poor wording is used to make it possible for the employer to screw over the employee, Poor location for anyone not from Norfolk, Aging workforce makes socialising with colleagues out side of work difficult

Pros

Clean environment, good holiday leave.

Cons

I used to go in with fire in my belly, but recent years management don't reward on what you can do, rather they take care of yes people and friends. If you make criticism or put a genuine point of view across its at your own peril as you get vilainised. Unless you are on a salary you are regarded as disposable, most people are on same money as shelf stackers and to be honest you'd have more job prospect stacking shelfs. HR department is absolutely abysmal, only concerned with keeping management happy, concerns raised are very rarely met.. Nor are they ever on site. I could go on........

Most employees are great to work with. Get out now before it's too late!

Cons

Shocking treatment from lying, incompetent management with HR backing them up. Company is in big trouble so their answer is to get rid of multi skilled people and keep inexperienced people.

In order to position ourselves as a strong and sustainable business, increasing costs meant that we needed to reshape and realign our headcount to match our annual operating plan forecast. Therefore, the difficult decision was made and we followed an open and fair process given the circumstances. We appreciate your feedback and advice.
