Great people, culture declining

Pros

Has kind and passionate people who are good to work with Working on a game can be rewarding Nice office, can work from home also

Cons

Everything that gave the studio charm is slowly declining as the company tries to bring in structure to the point of overkill. Feels much like its turning into every other AAA studio. Less relaxed working culture, pressure to attend the studio, benefits aren’t as good, work is no longer fun and motivating, everyone is under pressure, taking on jobs well beyond the scope of their role and the studio has forgotten who they are and what made SI great.

Cons

Games industry is volatile, projects cancelled at short notice Technical direction from the top not always clear
