Pros

Above average pay Good HMO benefits + 1 free dependent covered even for single employees Morning shift (mostly Au/NZ clients) but not all clients Events are not mandatory (not sure if it's the same for internal employees)

Cons

Depending on the client, roles can be unstable. Since most are Australian clients, where the job market is also currently cooked, you can be exposed to the same layoff risks as employees in other countries despite being outsourced. My own application process was longer than my stay lol. Render period required is 2 months, but the same is not guaranteed for you as an employee (i.e. you might get just 1-month pity pay, whereas other companies continue to pay even benched employees for up to 6 months or more). If you get laid off because the client just feels like it, there is no protection for you (especially if you haven't been regularized yet, which is much worse because you haven't really gained anything substantial from your stay there yet) -- you can literally see on the FAQ on the Staff Domain site that the client can lay off an employee "for whatever reason" within 3 months of their start date. They’ll try to reassure you that they will try to find a new client for you, but with how unstable their clients are, don’t expect too much (an example: after I got laid off, I immediately sent the recruitment team a list of possible roles from those still posted on their hiring boards — I was told that at least one of those roles was also being put on hold). Think twice. The offer is tempting, but lack of job security may cause you more stress down the line. I've read a few warnings about this happening to other employees online, but I ignored it thinking it was just bad luck and no way my client who went through a long interview process with me would just pull the rug from under me like that. But yeah, it's not always up to them, no? And I guess bad things seem unlikely until it happens to you. I took this job thinking it would be like a typical BPO or corporate company, with great job security, but since that's not the case -- you might be better off looking for clients directly and getting the full compensation instead of letting a middleman take a cut.
