Politics are so rampant, attention to the needs of the business are replaced by the cover your ass mentality. Management below the CEO spend their time setting up scapegoats for their poor decisions.
Almost all employees in my division are looking for new jobs because of the reasons mentioned above.

Management dwells on the negative often and loudly, and does not hold those responsible for poor results accountable, instead blaming those who had no part in the problem. This has caused tremendous morale problems and exacerbates the existing problems.
The vetting of upper management is so poor. One Division president gone in a short time for reasons I will not go into, his replacement has not introduced himself to anyone below his direct reports. Does not even send out a quarterly note to employees, absolutely no communication with his employees. Therefore they get the feeling they are not important, and to Standex, they may be.
