Pros

A few nice people in the business. You can easily get away with doing your day job and nothing else.

Cons

No help and support from other departments in the business. Everyone just pushes back even when its their job to do something. UK finance lady expects you to know all areas of finance even if you are in another dept. Not willing to help anyone is the business. UK HR - If you have any questions regarding your benefits, you wont get any responses. Even when you raise it to your line manager and they chase, they don't get a response either. UK HR - They actively encourage you refer people to join the business and when you do, they don't have the courtesy to respond to the candidate, which makes the refer look bad. You may have read in other reviews about it being IG club, well those reviews aren't wrong. Majority of the staff on retail side are ex IG. They tend to bring in IG staff and replicate everything IG do. They want to be exactly like IG. If you want flexible working or hybrid, don't expect it. From the top it has been pushed for people to be in the office. As soon as they get a chance it will be 5 days back in the office. Think twice before moving here

Pros

- Good office location (if needed?). - The peer group at the execution level is talented and supportive. - Better-than-average benefits scheme.

Cons

— Dismissive Leadership Style: Leadership responded to fairness concerns by quoting a controversial political figure, displaying an "Iron Lady" resolve that feels a bit rusty in a modern workplace. This "no, no, no!" attitude confirms an unwillingness to compromise, proving they are indeed "not for turning". — Disconnected Leadership: While leadership describes the company's growth as something others would "look upon with envy", this "success" was not at all reflected in end-of-year compensation, which stands to be at the all-time low. — False Sense of Agency: Mechanisms for feedback appear performative. Although town halls are held, there is a failure to listen to serious concerns regarding the 4-day mandate. — Ultimatums: Management explicitly stated that if employees do not like the new policies, the company is "not for you". — All-Time Low Morale: A dismissive approach and unrealistic deadlines eroded any remaining loyalty and created an extremely negative outlook for the entire company.
