Pros

This company has a lot of work on its plate and It is easy to strengthen a skill and make it your niche. Management was very easy to talk to and work with. The expectations were high, but it was never hard to have a chat to the bosses.

Cons

The fact that there is plenty of work is both a strength and a weakness. This company in 2015 is growing and doing so in a very heavy site engineering and traffic engineering manner. From my experience, There was a lot of repetition in the kind of work being done. I will admit that I probably had the most interesting job with respect to the more entry level staff, however for many of the engineers working in the traffic department, the work was repetitive. This may also be a critic of the field of traffic engineering as much as it is a of this organization, however if that is not something that bothers you then that should be fine. The people at the company are all nice, however the culture is definitely that of a workaholic. There is no real sense of work/life balance. it simply doesn't exist. This is something that starts with upper management and trickles down to the greenest employees - there is definitely pressure to work 50 - 60 / week on average. It should not be surprising to work more. The hours would not be a big issue if the pay was great, however it was not anything to rave about. It was good.

Pros

You will learn a lot in a short amount of time. They give you feedback in yearly meetings and potential for a raise.

Cons

Crazy hours!!! They expect you to ALWAYS stay late (without pay) and pick up the slack of others. If you are working on the site team beware!! (If you are on traffic you are fine) You will be pounded with crazy amounts of work any barely any help. They do not train you, just expect you to learn on the spot. The environment is very unprofessional and is the reason they are having such a hard time keeping people at the company. The project managers are so crazy overworked they do not have time for any questions and will give attitude for asking.

Pros

Time flies by in the office because everyone works hard and gets along. Can be a big fish is a small (but getting bigger) pond. When I was at larger companies I thought there was a clear ceiling I was never going to get through, here the sky is the limit Young staff gets taught technical and management skills right away fostering true organic growth. Lots of clients seem to like working with the company, the name is starting to be recognized in the industry You get rewarded ($$) and recognized for the work you do well Young company and young staff creates a welcoming atmosphere

Cons

Starting salaries are average but through bonuses and raises you really get rewarded for great work and the companies success Busy busy! This is not an 9 to 5 job, but everyone here loves working hard. If you work hard no one questions you when you want to take off, take a workout class, have a doctors appt.
