Pros
This company has a lot of work on its plate and It is easy to strengthen a skill and make it your niche. Management was very easy to talk to and work with. The expectations were high, but it was never hard to have a chat to the bosses.
Cons
The fact that there is plenty of work is both a strength and a weakness. This company in 2015 is growing and doing so in a very heavy site engineering and traffic engineering manner. From my experience, There was a lot of repetition in the kind of work being done. I will admit that I probably had the most interesting job with respect to the more entry level staff, however for many of the engineers working in the traffic department, the work was repetitive. This may also be a critic of the field of traffic engineering as much as it is a of this organization, however if that is not something that bothers you then that should be fine. The people at the company are all nice, however the culture is definitely that of a workaholic. There is no real sense of work/life balance. it simply doesn't exist. This is something that starts with upper management and trickles down to the greenest employees - there is definitely pressure to work 50 - 60 / week on average. It should not be surprising to work more. The hours would not be a big issue if the pay was great, however it was not anything to rave about. It was good.
