Unstable Job, Undervalued Employees, Stress - AVOID!
Pros
- Half day on Fridays - Work coach was friendly - Other employees were harmless
Cons
- Abusive and manipulative boss (screamed down the phone; talked nastily about other employees behind their backs and much more) - Zero hours contract - Unethical - Toxic culture - Pressured to get donations from people who were struggling due to the spike in bill costs etc - Poor communication between managers and what was required of employees and how that information was relayed back to us - Terrible, suspicious payroll management of payroll (often paid late and payroll company would change frequently) and my emails over payroll and wanting clarity were not answered satisfactorily - Consistently felt undervalued despite my doing extremely well for various charities - Boss nitpicked incessantly over lower stats and figures, without praising my huge gains for charities. If my strengths ever were acknowledged, it was only ever after intense, often rude 'pointers' and threatening to let me go. - I left at a time where I was doing extremely well for the company, due to immense pressure and stress felt from management. I would avoid this company at all cost.
